Promises to veterans cannot be broken

Veterans have earned the right to expect fulfillment of promises by our commander in chief and other elected government representatives.

If they opt to break their promises, why then should our men and women in the armed forces fulfill their promises.

May I opine that these veterans dwell on this conduct in their waking moments. Many moments! You can bet the old condo on that. Not only the recent service extension in Iraq, but the glowing promises of health and nursing care would fill bookshelves.
