For the first time in a long time, the Oregon softball team put together a performance worthy of its lofty expectations.

Amy Harris was dominant from the circle, the offense delivered when it had to, and the defense gave an effort that was error-free.

The end result was a 3-0 victory against No. 2 Arizona at Howe Field on Friday afternoon, ending Oregon's seven-game Pac-10 losing streak. It was the highest-ranked opponent the Ducks (28-18, 4-9 Pac-10) had defeated since beating then-No. 1 Arizona at home on April 25 of last season.
