TRANSPORT Canada selected the Union Pearson AirLink Group (UPAG) in November 2003 out of four pre-qualified consortia to finance, design, construct, operate and maintain a rail link between Toronto's Union station, which is used by 200,000 people a day, and Lester B Pearson International Airport which handles about 80,000 passengers a day and is Canada's busiest airport. It is hoped that the rail link will eliminate up to 1.5 million car journeys a year.

UPAG. which is 100% owned by SNC Lavalin, Canada, was awarded a concession until 2056 via stakeholder agreements...
