Graduation for 330 Thurston High School students will be Saturday. Commencement speakers will be Paul Halupa and Mike Michel.

A baccalaureate service will be Thursday.

The school has named three students to share the honor of class valedictorian: Ashlee Girard, Whitney Phelps and Matthew Urness.

Girard is the daughter of Jacqueline and David Girard. She plans to attend the University of Oregon to major in marketing and minor in advertising. She is president of DECA and played basketball for four years, serving as captain her senior year. She also has been active in the National Honor Society and leadership.

Phelps, the daughter of Ronda and James Phelps, plans to attend LeTourneau University in Texas to study political science and pre-law.
