Question: We need to hire an individual who will work primarily with the Latino community. Is it appropriate to advertise for applicants who are bicultural?

Answer: Setting `bicultural' as a minimum qualification suggests that any successful applicant for your job must be Hispanic. That could have the effect of screening out otherwise qualified applicants and might lead to claims of discrimination based on race or national origin.
