The Hackett Group, an Answerthink company today announced a new Best Practices Certified Solution program for business software and services. The Hackett Certified Solution program enables companies to offer assurances that their software or service offering supports proven Hackett best practices in finance, HR, IT, shared services, procurement, and related areas. During the certification process, Hackett will also provide an estimate of the cost savings and productivity enhancements an average company can potentially achieve through implementation of the software or service as part of a best practices program, based on analysis of its renowned benchmark database of over 2,000 global participants.
The Hackett Group also announced today that it has awarded its first best practices certification to PeopleSoft for the Financial Management Solutions (FMS) applications of PeopleSoft Version 8.4. According to Hackett, an average company may save up to $900,000 in finance operations costs per $1 billion in annual revenue by implementing PeopleSoft FMS as part of an overall best practices implementation program.
