Elementary Schools

Sunnydale, Streamwood: Fifth-graders under the direction of teachers Ginger Blahnik and Kristine Hamilton, are working on a class project called "The Great Mail Race." Students have been writing to a fifth-grade class in each of the 50 states.

They enclosed a questionnaire with questions, such as what are your school colors, what is your mascot, where do you go on field trips, how many boys and girls in your class, etc. They will be charting the results and comparing them with other fifth graders across the United States. The responses have just started coming in.

Bartlett: The school will have its Kindergarten Round-up at 6 p.m. at the school April 6.

Centennial, Bartlett: The sixth-graders will hold a Medieval Fair from 8:50 to 11 a.m. April 7 in the gym.
