The next ICN will take place in Durban, South Africa, from 20 to 23 September 2005 with pre-congress events from 17 to 19 September 2005 (2). Professor Pauline Kuzwayo, a prominent nutritionist in Africa is the Congress President. The title of the Congress, 'Nutrition Safari for Innovative Solutions' urges nutritionists from all over the world to journey to Africa to collectively seek new solutions for global nutrition problems. The objectives of the congress are, therefore, not only to exchange new information, but also to stimulate the process of finding innovative solutions to old and new problems.
