Devin Parker of Eugene is living proof that it's wise for children to know how to call 911.

Parker's 5-year-old daughter, Grace, may have saved his life last Friday by calling 911 after he was incapacitated when his blood sugar dropped dangerously low. Eugene firefighters found Parker, a diabetic, unconscious, but were able to revive the 31-year-old single father.

"She knows I take care of her, and she takes care of me," Parker said about his daughter Monday.
