TUCSON, Ariz. -As former star right fielder Magglio Ordonez was firing yet another solicited salvo at the White Sox over the weekend, Paul Konerko was quietly doing what he does best.

In Sunday's intrasquad game, Konerko launched a 2-run homer off Freddy Garcia in his first at-bat. That's good news for the Sox, who are going to need another productive year from their top offensive weapon after losing Ordonez and Carlos Lee.
