On Saturday, Feb. 19, the Dundee Township Republican Central Committee Inc. held its first annual Lincoln/Reagan Day Dinner at the Randall Oaks Golf Club. Committee Chairman John Noverini explained, "For years we have held a Lincoln Day Dinner in honor of our first and greatest Republican president, Abraham Lincoln. However, with the passing of our 40th president, Ronald Wilson Reagan, on June 5, we renamed this event in honor of the two great presidents both having roots in Illinois."
