To the editor: We are very pleased to support a strong slate for the April 5 village election.

Karen Darch is running for president of the board. She is a proven leader in the village. As a current trustee, she is completely knowledgeable in all matters pertaining to our community and has been a vital presence on the board, chairing the finance committee. She has experience and has exhibited a positive, professional approach to solving village problems.

Beth Raseman is running for trustee as an incumbent. She also has the advantage of being intimately familiar with the workings of the village and has expertise in the areas of planning, zoning and economic development.

Both of these women can be proud of the many accomplishments of the past four years, including downtown improvements, the creation of Memorial Park, community activities such as Cruise Nights...
