Bush has compiled a sorry record

In the Feb. 14 Fence Post, two readers, one pronouncing our current president a "proven leader," the other saying he is "looking out for all Americans," cause me to suggest that they have someone competent explain to them what this character has really done and, of more importance, what he has failed to do!

He has totally misled the American people and the rest of the world regarding the need to invade Iraq, and did so against the advice of his father and Colin Powell, both of whom far surpass his experience and intellect.

He has "led" us from a budget surplus situation to our current "largest in history" budget deficit....
