JACKSON -- Architect William McElroy seems to be in constant motion, hopping from one meeting to the next--but what can you expect from someone who designed his first house at the age of 12?

McElroy is a principal in McElroy, Ward & Associates Architects, PLLC, in Jackson, and he is Mississippi's Small Business Person of the Year. He will travel to Orlando this week for the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Expo '04 to be honored as one of 53 Small Business Persons of the Year and to vie for the national title.
