The Bank of Japan (BOJ) Policy Board at its Nov. 15-16 meeting rejected a proposal for the central bank to purchase foreign bonds, but some board members saw advantages of such bond purchases as a way to ease credit further, according to minutes of the meeting released Tuesday.
