TOKYO, Dec. 19 Kyodo

The U.S. dollar remained slightly above 128.00 yen Wednesday in Tokyo, reacting little to the Bank of Japan's (BOJ) decision to take additional credit-easing steps.

At 5 p.m., the dollar was quoted at 128.12-15 yen, compared with Tuesday's 5 p.m. quotes of 127.75-85 yen in New York and 128.26-28 yen in Tokyo.
