International credit-rating agency Fitch Ltd. said Monday it had lowered credit ratings of major Japanese banks, including Mizuho Financial Group, Mitsubishi-Tokyo Financial Group, UFJ Group and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp., and indicated that further downgrades may be possible.
