Although professional woman boxer Emiko Raika does not get a chance to be at the center of public attention in Japan in the same way as Lila Ali or Jacqui Frazier-Lyde do in the United States, her ultimate dream is to become a world champion.

A featherweight, Raika has a record of three wins and one draw, including a knockout victory, in her four professional bouts.

Women's professional boxing has not yet become a major crowd draw in Japan, unlike in the United States where the daughters of former heavyweight boxing greats Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier fought recently, with Lila Ali earning an eighth-round majority decision.
