TOKYO, June 12 Kyodo

As if determined to live the kind of life suggested by the theme song ''What a feeling'' of the 1983 blockbuster ''Flashdance,'' Asako Ogawa is seeking to dance her way around the world's various continents in search of new challenges as well as of herself.

''Dancing brings human beings and space together and makes them one entity,'' said Ogawa, a dancer, choreographer and dance instructor in Tokyo. ''It condones a wicked heart and a sense of aversion (to oneself). With dancing, you cannot betray yourself.''

Ogawa has just finished a two-day performance at Tokyo's Session House with her dance company Inspirations ahead of the group's engagements in Paris on July 2-4.

''The French people respect esprit and protect old things,'' she said in an interview at a coffee shop near her...
