Residents served by the Palatine Rural Fire Protection District will again have the opportunity to let the district know just how much service they want to pay for.

For the sixth consecutive election, the fire district will ask for a tax rate increase during the Feb. 22 primary.

"We hope we get the message out eventually, so people realize how important it is," said Chief Hank Clemmensen.
