Gloucestershire County Council Social Services is the first Social Services Department in the country to successfully introduce electronic social care records (ESCR) for adults and children & families teams across the county.

Executive Director of Social Services, Margaret Sheather, said: "I am delighted that Gloucestershire is the first council to meet the government target. The Gloucestershire system is an excellent example of partnership working which could not have been achieved without the hard work and dedication of our own staff from ICT, our ICT managed services supplier Vivista, and of course our system users in social services."
