WebSky, Inc. (Pink Sheets: WKYN - http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=WKYN.PK ) WebSky, Inc. announced a reverse stock split of 1 x 300 of its common shares, effective on Tuesday, February 22, 2005.
In additional announcements made today, WebSky reported that it has purchased equipment from Airspan Networks, Inc., an Israeli manufacturer of wireless products, and from Radio Waves, Inc. for installation in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The Company also announced today that the initial launch of its joint venture project in Argentina has now been expanded from a single transmission site to include two sites within Greater Buenos Aires. As reported earlier, the Company's operations in Argentina will commence prior to March 5, 2005 as required under the radio frequency licenses issued by the Argentinean government to the Company's joint venture.
Furthermore, the Company reported that the previously announced relationship between it and Digital Way S.A. de C.V. has been terminated. This termination will permit WebSky to concentrate its efforts on its potential more lucrative Argentinean operations as well as enable the Company to pursue other opportunities in larger international markets elsewhere.
