The Bartlett girls basketball team will always feel it should have been playing for the championship of the 22nd Annual Charger Classic at Dundee-Crown.

But the Hawks left the disappointment of their 2-point loss to undefeated Fenwick in Wednesday's semifinals in the locker room Thursday night when they came out to play New Trier - the state's top-ranked team in the Associated Press' preseason poll - for third place.
