Waubonsie Valley's Andy Long has never met Greg Jackson, but he has the Warriors alumnus to thank for his record-breaking performance at Thursday's Waubonsie Valley Aqua Pentathlon.

While Long finished third behind Champaign Centennial's Tyler McGill and Ross Moore, he achieved his goal of setting a new Waubonsie Valley point total for the meet, which was set by Jackson back in 1996.
