The new year is nearly upon us, and with that new cycle comes new laws to adhere to, new council members in most cities, and new estimates from economists about the future of our economy over the next 12 months.

If you drive nearly anywhere in the county you will see construction going on. Everything from roadways, train and trolley extensions, commercial office space and tons of residential homes is going up. It doesn't take a trained economist to proclaim that the economy is pretty solid.
