Edith Moon
Edith M. Moon of Eugene died Jan. 26 of age-related causes. She was 87.
She was born June 30, 1917, in Beloit, Wis., to Agosto and Marianna Galli Boschi. She married Forrest F. Moon in Clinton, Iowa, on Aug. 10, 1940. He died Dec. 31, 1968. She lived in the Beloit area until 1989, when she moved to Eugene.
Moon graduated from Turner High School in Beloit. She was employed as a secretary for the Beloit City Recreation Department from 1956 to 1982.
She enjoyed reading and was a member of the Catholic Church.
Survivors include a son, Jim of Eugene; and two grandchildren and two great-grand- children.
No service is planned. Poole-Larsen Funeral Home in Eugene is in charge of arrangements.
