Tana Loftin scored 13 points to lead No. 9-ranked Marist to a 58-49 Sky-Em League girls basketball victory over Cottage Grove on Tuesday.

Kristina Neet added 12 points and Rachel Copeland had 10 for the Spartans, who share the Sky-Em lead with Junction City.

Ashley Adams had 14 points and Tosha Brandt added 11 to lead Cottage Grove.

Junction City 35, Siuslaw 23

FLORENCE - McKenzie Gambee scored 14 points and Christie Richards contributed eight as the Tigers (12-5, 6-1 Sky-Em) remained in a first-place tie with Marist.

Alaura Little had six points for the Vikings. Junction City stretched its lead from four at halftime to 12 by the end of the third quarter.
