Commercial real estate professionals say this year should be a good one for the office markets of both Westchester and Connecticut's Fairfield counties, although Fairfield County has been ranked as the worst market in the nation in a new report by Moody's Investors Service.

During the fourth quarter of 2004, Moody's ranked Westchester the eighth-best office market in the country--the same rank it enjoyed during the third quarter. Fairfield County--labeled "Stamford" by Moody's--finished dead last at number 74.
