HILLSBORO - Matt Bramow and Trenton Newton-Jones each had a double-double to lead third-ranked South Eugene to a 74-59 win over No. 6 Grant on Wednesday afternoon in a consolation game of the Les Schwab Invitational at Liberty High School.

Bramow had 25 points and 10 rebounds while Newton-Jones added 22 points and 12 rebounds. Bramow hit six three-pointers while Newton-Jones was 9-for-12 from the field. JR Morgan added 11 points and five assists for the Axemen, who shot 53.2 percent from the field.

South Eugene will close out the tournament today at 4 p.m. against Fairfax of Los Angeles, which is ranked 11th in the nation by USA Today.
