Senior Jessica Elsen of the NCAA Division III national champion Wheaton College women's soccer team was named the Defensive Player of the Tournament last weekend in Greensboro, N.C.

Elsen anchored the Thunder defense in last Friday's 3-1 victory over Wheaton of Massachusetts and in Saturday's 2-1 championship victory over Puget Sound (Wash.) which ended in penalty kicks after two overtime periods.
