Name-calling is offensive

I take offense to being called ignorant by Marie Harris ("After the election, angry at everyone," Fence Post, Nov. 23), and I am quite sure I am not alone.

I felt dismay when former President Clinton was elected- twice. I did not however, call everyone who voted for him ignorant. Although President Clinton never won a majority of the vote, he was fairly elected and remains a popular figure in spite of his scandalous activities.

No one has the right to call everyone who opposes their opinion ignorant.
