In a bookish community that's getting increasingly more bookish, this is a big week for books.

If you're buying, there's Eugene Public Library's Authors and Artists Fair from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday.

If you're selling, there's Powell's Bookstore's temporary "branch" at the Ramada Inn on Saturday through Tuesday, set up solely to buy used books.

And if you're too busy to do either - because you're engrossed in, say, a really good book - you're not atypical.
