ABBOTT PARK, Ill., Nov. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Abbott today announced that for the second consecutive year the company has been named among the top 20 employers for scientists in a ranking of the world's most respected biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies. The ranking by Science magazine, puts Abbott at number 14 out of 317 companies. Abbott was recognized for being an innovative leader in the industry, having a clear vision towards the future and having work and personal values that are aligned.
The ranking, determined from a survey conducted by an independent research firm commissioned by the business office of the journal, Science, appears in a special supplement of the Nov. 25 issue.
