In one year, Coronado Travel Group, Inc. ranked No. 4 on the San Diego Business Journal's List of Travel Agencies, increased its air ticket sales by nearly 2,000 percent, from $758,000 in 2003 to more than $15 million in 2004.

Of the 11 travel agencies ranked on The List, Coronado Travel Group is one of only four agencies with profitable air ticket sales, with total sales reaching more than $16 million. Ranking for the 2004 List is based on 2003 air ticket sales.

Success for Coronado Travel Group has come in the form of technology, with the operation of AirGorilla.com, a Web site enabling customers to purchase flights and travel packages over the Interact.
