OXFORD -- Business professors Bill Rayburn, Dennis Tosh, Bob Dorsey and John D. Johnson arrived at the University of Mississippi in the late 1980s, and after successfully launching other businesses separately, collaborated on a business plan in 1995, sketching FNC's origins on a napkin over a blue-plate lunch special in an Oxford town square restaurant.
