MAZAK DEMOS NEW SHEET METAL AND TUBE LASERS
Mazak will display new sheet metal/plate laser systems and a 3D-tube laser with a new bundle loader. The high-speed lasers perform ultra-fast cutting of sheet metal while maintaining tight dimensional accuracy and consistent cut quality. The FG-150, a 3D-tube laser with bundle loader, will automatically load, feed, 3D-laser cut, and unload mill length materials up to 5.9 inches in diameter. The system fabricates round, square, rectangular and triangular pipe as well as I and H beams, C channels and angle irons. The 64-bit NC and simultaneously controlled 3D-cutting head allow the 3D-rotary system to perform coping in one operation. It also cuts precise angles, weld-prep bevels and complex contours. TRUMPF INTRODUCES FLAT SHEET LASER CUTTER
Trumpf Inc. will introduce a new concept in flat sheet laser cutting, the Trumatic L 2510 XL FMC, a machine designed specifically for automated production. It combines a load and unload device with a high speed laser cutting machine to form a new compact and productive flexible manufacturing cell.
