Thurston alums sought: Thurston High School is looking for a couple of Colt football alums to serve as honorary captains at next month's homecoming game/alumni football night. Thurston plays Springfield at Silke Field, and free T-shirts will be handed out to attending THS alumni. Former football players interested in representing past Colt teams should contact athletic director Scott Johnson, 744-5194, as soon as possible.

Coed volleyball team sought: Eugene Coed Volleyball League has space for one new coed B league volleyball team for Wednesday evening play from Nov. 5 to mid-April. The team entry fee is $250. Contact: Kathy, 746-6454, or e-mail k.ipock@comcast.net.

Fall lacrosse practice: Eugene Lacrosse Club holds informal out-of-season practice during the fall with scrimmages against the University of Oregon team on Fridays. Interested readers can contact the club through Brian at 686-8285 or Dan at 343-6398.

Klamath Legion baseball: Klamath Falls American Legion Post No. 8 is seeking to contact all former members of the Falcons, the Legion baseball team. An alumni game will be played in July.
