Eugene Airport Rotary awards 10 scholarships

Ten area students have received $1,000 scholarships from the Eugene Airport Rotary.

The students are Orren Johnson and Kyle Thames, both of Junction City High School; Heather Hottenstin, North Eugene High School; Jennifer Dorman and Josh Lucas, both of Monroe Union High School; Jeanna Eastburn, Triangle Lake High School; Gabrielle Dillion and Jill Anne Robertson, both of Willamette High School; Kaydie Nichols, Elmira High School; and Ronda Stutzman, Harrisburg Union High School.

Oak Hill puppets to be in museum exhibit

Two puppets created by the students at Oak Hill School will be featured in an exhibit at the Oregon Historical Society Museum in Portland.
