For Mike and Lazurine Guido's nine children, visiting dad at work means climbing inside a life-size fiberglass shark's mouth, taking a stroll through "Kid Town" or playing a round of "Human Bowling."
The family owns and operates All That and More, a 15,000-square-foot kid extravaganza featuring elaborate play structures, family arcade games and giant "inflatables" that offer kids and grown-ups alike a range of activities, including the Velcro sticky wall, the Bungee Run and Bouncy Boxing.
Located in the old Sonny's Family Market building on Bailey Hill Road, All That and More opened last November - several months later than planned, Mike Guido said, because of difficulties and delays with the city over permits.
But it's been a pretty smooth ride ever since, he said. Customers enjoy the place, and have helped boost business by telling their friends about it. Neighbors, a few of whom had voiced concerns ahead of time about potential noise or juvenile delinquency, have found no reason to complain.
