Frank Masengil
A memorial service will be held Oct. 31 for Frank A. Masengil of Eugene, who died Oct. 28 of age-related causes. He was 98.
Masengil was born Dec. 29, 1904, in Colville, Wash., to Benjamin and Della Barnett Masengil.
He married Hazel Gale in 1924. She died Feb. 17, 1994. He married Beryl Clark in Eugene on Feb. 17, 1996.
Masengil lived in the Eugene area for 80 years. He worked as a lumber grader and in real estate. He also owned Sunblend Draperies before retiring.
His interests included traveling and he enjoyed Christian programs. He was a member of The Lighthouse.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Arlene Zerbe of Sisters; a brother, Ben of Junction City; and one grandchild.
Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. today at Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Friday's service will be at 1 p.m. at The Lighthouse, 1790 Charnelton St. The graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Rest-Haven Memorial Park in Eugene.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Lighthouse television ministry.

HARRISBURG - The funeral will be held Oct. 31 for Kenneth Earl Bierly of Harrisburg, who died Oct. 26 of age-related causes. He was 79.
