Trick: A federal ruling on whether to allow the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife to re-open the fishery on wild coho salmon in Siltcoos and Tahkenitch lakes will not be made until after Nov. 10.

As a result, about half the coho run will have already moved through the lakes by the earliest date the ODFW could adopt and post an emergency rule allowing anglers to begin harvesting those fish.
