They've been enjoying arts and crafts and music and stories and most all the other staples of Vacation Bible School.

But look at some of the other activities on the daily schedule and you quickly realize there's something different about this church school: yoga, meditation, conflict resolution, media literacy. And, oh yes, baking pita bread.

The 40-plus kids in attendance at Eugene's First Congregational Church this week come from diverse religious backgrounds - not only Congregational and Presbyterian and Mormon, but Muslim, Jewish, Hindu and Buddhist.
