PROJECT OVERVIEW:

The local UNION PROPERTIES recently awarded a construction contract for a planned commercial and residential complex to AL-HAMED ENTERPRISES of the UAE. The award reportedly includes package D of the Up Town Mirdif project to be sited in Dubai.

According to the terms of the award, AL-HAMED will be responsible for building a compound including a: - 90,000 square meter retail space; - 4,000 square meter supermarket; - A 4-story residential building encompassing a built-up area of

49,000 square meters.

The cost to complete the real estate development project has been pegged at $70,000,000.

AL HAMED employs a total staff of about 4,600 and operates as a holding company. The group is engaged in a wide range of diversified business activities including engineering, manufacturing, construction and so on.
