ACI to Support Enhanced ATM Services and Security as
Poland's Largest Bank Gains EU Member Status
ACI Worldwide (Nasdaq:TSAI), a leading international provider of enterprise payment solutions, today announced that PKO Bank Polski (PKO BP), the largest bank in Poland, chose ACI software to support the addition of mobile top-up functionality to its ATM network.
PKO BP will use ACI software to manage the online authorisation of mobile top-up payments at the ATM to increase revenue and improve cash flow. ACI is also supporting PKO BP's implementation of Triple DES, the ATM security standard mandated by the major card networks. In addition, PKO BP will implement ACI's Automated Key Distribution System (AKDS) and the enhanced services architecture of ACI's Transaction Security Services (TSS).
PKO BP already uses ACI's BASE24-atm(R) software to authorise, route and switch transactions across its network of nearly 1,800 ATMs. Using extensions to its existing BASE24 software, PKO BP will deliver real-time, online authorisation of ATM payments for pre-pay mobile top-up transactions.
