Pardee Homes was one of nine builders nationally to win top honors in the EnergyValue Housing Awards (EVHA), which recognize companies that achieve success while respecting the environment. EVHA honors builders who voluntarily integrate energy efficiency into the design, construction and marketing of their new homes, and educate the home building industry and the public about successful approaches to energy efficient construction.

The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Research Center sponsors EVHA. Award winners were officially celebrated at NAHB's 2003 International Builders Show in Las Vegas.

"Increasingly, consumers are demanding that a wide range of companies assume responsibility for the environmental impact of their business practices," said Mike Luzier, NAHB Research Center president. "Pardee Homes and our other honorees are proactive and innovative, and we are proud to work with such extraordinary industry leaders."

Pardee's commitment at Pacific Highlands Ranch also includes extensive remediation Efforts for an environmentally sensitive land parcel.
