How you manage stress will have a great deal to do with your health and the health of your business. According to the National Institute of Stress, 75 to 90 percent of all visits to primary care physicians result from stress-related disorders.

Sixty percent of absenteeism from work is thought to be due to stress and the New York Business Group on Health estimated that workers suffering from stress and stress-related disorders miss an average of 16 days of work each year, compared to five or six days for the average worker. And a recent British Medical Journal article showed that people with high job strain were more than twice as likely as those with low job strain to die from cardiovascular disease.
