a. An Unwavering Focus:

As exemplified by Jacob in his search for a specked flock (Genesis 30:37-39). Jacob exposed animals on heat to streaked branches of trees as they mated. The result was that the animals bore young ones that were streaked.

b. A Perfect and Correct Focus:

As in the conversation of Jeremiah with the Lord in Jeremiah 1:11. God asked Jeremiah what he saw. He replied, "I see the branch of an almond tree". The Lord said further, "You have seen correctly, for I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled".

c. A Courageous Prophesy:

God's plan to lead the world can be fulfilled when we are willing to back our visions with prophesies without fear as God commands Jeremiah (Jer. 1:17-19) to "stand up and say to them whatever I command you--for I am with you and will rescue you".
