City manager to talk about Elgin's future

Elgin City Manager David Dorgan will be the featured speaker for this month's general meeting of the League of Women Voters of the Elgin Area.

Dorgan, formerly village manager for Tinley Park, will discuss his impressions of Elgin and prospects for the future. Included will be comments on the city's planned westward expansion, related city services to this area, and the effects of state budget cuts on the city. After his presentation, questions from the audience will be welcome.
