As of 2001 the annual Electronic Catalog of Sound Effects & Royalty-free Music (paper format: Sound Effects Library. ISSN 1704-1066) is now distributed free via CD-ROM (ISSN 1704-1074) for Microsoft Windows or Macintosh. The disc includes a Filemaker Pro user program that allows users to search for specific sound effects or music tracks across several commercial products; users can make comments and notes to save in the electronic file.
