Last December, Sherri Hilton was sprawled on the floor of the gift-wrap room in her retail store, stuffing tissue paper in boxes as fast as she could to keep pace with the more than 400 holiday presents being wrapped every day. She looked up at two other girls who were hurriedly tying bows on packages and said with a chuckle, "You know, I used to be somebody!"
"Really, I've interviewed two presidents, hall a dozen governors, movie stars, criminals and heroes, but here I sit on a concrete floor wrapping presents," she said. "It's the best job I ever had!"
